The Association
About us
Ports de Catalunya-ACPET is a private non-profit organization established in 1983, formed by concessionaires of ports and marinas in Catalonia.
Since its inception, the entity has worked to bring together the concessionaires of marinas, in its various legal forms, whether Yacht Clubs, Commercial Companies or Consortia and has based its management on the identification of common interests and their defense and development, which has allowed to unify and improve the quality of service delivery to all Catalan marinas.
The high representativeness that it has held since its origin, has positioned it as an interlocutor before the different Administrations that, in one way or another, intervene and/or supervise these infrastructures that are the Marinas.
At present, the Association has 47 associated ports out of the 53 existing in Catalonia, which represents 90% of the port concessions granted in Catalonia, including those under the supervision of Puertos del Estado.
Presidency
The Presidency of the Association has been held since April 2018 by Mr. Albert Bertran Romero, who is at the same time Executive President of the Port of Sitges-Aiguadolç.
